From Manila to The Bay—TU LALA, coming from Tagalog word “tulala” which can be translated into “daydreaming” or “dazed”, was spawned from long distance cousins whose obsession with synthesizers, shoe-gaze, and experimental pop music lead to the creation of "Cut & Paste." This entire record was produced & arranged remotely from 7,000 miles away, and not once were the two members in the same space.
