"Where the Desert meets the Surf," can be used to describe the sound of Tuberosa. Intricate drum and bass lines drive the rhythm section, with jangly guitar skanking, exotic melodies, and ghostly reverb-drenched vocal harmonies on top.
Tuberosa started out by playing backyard parties, and throwing underground ragers at their warehouse, "Studio 33".
Although a newer project, Tuberosa members have been jamming together since 2011. They have booked multiple DIY tours covering 16 states and have played alongside: Adult Books, Chelsea Wolfe, Dead Meadow, Levitation Room, SadGirl, Soft Palms, The Black Lips, The Coathangers, The Entrance Band, The Growlers, The Relationship, Thee Commons, Travesura, Tropa Magica, White Mystery to name a few.
The first single came out September 1st, 2023, and was self-produced at the new Studio 33 in San Diego, CA.
