Turner Stricklin

Turner Stricklin grew up right outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Where hip-hop, pop, country, and many more different styles and cultures all mix. Giving Turner a wide and diverse interest when it comes to creating his art. Turner first started singing and dancing listening to young Michael Jackson with his mom when he was little and a spark for performing was born. After listening to many different genres and artists Turner always seemed to come back to Michael Jackson, wanting to replicate the performative, stylistic, and bold choices he made in his own art. Growing up Turner did a lot of theatre, which helped him become comfortable on a stage and okay with feeling a little uncomfortable to make a performance pop. As far as his music, Turner doesn’t really tend to stick to a genre, having so many different interests and passions his music is just a reflection of how he feels in the moment.
