Turntup Mir

Amir Kadeem Rouse was born and raised in South Philly on November 27, 1991. He coined the name "Turnt Up" at a moment in his life when he was up state serving a short prison sentence, which ultimately led to his life- changing decision to channel his negative street life into music. That's when he began writing raps. And That's when "Turnt Up Mir" was born. When he came home in 2011 he released his first mixtape called "The Take Off" which featured his first single “Cap and Gown". His single instantly gained hometown popularity, giving Turnt Up Amir official street credibility and positive feedback from local club DJ's, and landing his single in iTunes music store where it is reported to have close to 200,000 downloads.
After a mixtape deal with French Montana and the Coke Boys fell through, Turnt Up Mir found himself
in the braces of different management companies in which he
went on to record over one hundred songs to further broaden his music catalogue. A new project was started in 2014 called "Graduated from The Streets", which included street favorites "Oh Yeah" and "Smell Like Money”.
Amir Kadeem Rouse has landed acting roles in a few upcoming movies such as "Brotherly Love" and the new HBO Original Movie "Touch" starring Stephen Baldwin.
He has also performed with HIP Hop notables such as Jasmine Sullivan, Tone Loc, Quilly Millz, Young M.A, Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Desiigner, Cardi B, Kap G, Jahlil Beatz, Fat Trel, Gogo Morrow, PNB Rock, (Onyx), (WU Tang).
