hi, it’s twan. i write music. i started when i was sixteen, and never really stopped. composing became a cathartic practice that helped me relate to and process the world around. i love music that offers a space for contemplation and introspection, and i hope that my work does too. in a world that can feel increasingly overwhelming, i wish for my music to be a quiet counter voice. i also love poetry and visual art, so i try to weave all these together in ways that are meaningful to me.
i’m now finishing up the recording of an album of solo acoustic guitar pieces, many of which i’ve already released (<a href="spotify:playlist:4iwtUJNIe6ap8JvuXqX8sL" data-name="Twan Bracco Gartner – Guitar Works">Twan Bracco Gartner – Guitar Works</a>). i also publish the sheet music and tablature for these pieces on my bandcamp page, in case you’d like to play them yourself. i’ve also written a solo piano record, which i am about to record and release, hopefully towards the end of this year. there’s also a collaborative audiovisual show with cris mollee that we are starting to perform live, featuring electronics, piano, and electric guitar in various shapes and forms.
i hope that the music here will resonate with you in some way. thank you for listening—it means a lot, truly. -t
