Twayn has already made a big impact on the international stage with their music. Finalists in two huge songwriting competitions in 2022, twin sisters, Hannah and Grace, have written and performed with artists and producers in the UK and in Nashville, USA and have enjoyed support from BBC Introducing as well as Amazing Radio.

Born and raised in the North East of England, the girls have been song writing, singing and performing since they were very young. Grace’s passion has always been singing and her voice is classically trained, though pop is where her heart is. At the beginning of the Covid pandemic the girls started recording their own music as a lockdown project. Hannah focused her attention on instrumentation and production, which she taught herself from scratch, also providing backing vocals to Grace’s lyrics and lead vocals. By the end of summer 2021, then still only 16, the single ‘sweet 16’ was debuted and this Gen Z ballad with beautiful sibling harmonies was the song that went on to win them great acclaim the following year.

More recently, the duo supported Jools Holland on his 2025 Winter Tour, taking their sibling harmonies across the UK to perform in venues such as Cardiff's Utilita Arena and the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. In tandem with this milestone achievement, the girls released their third EP, 'Sadness Is My Sanctuary', of which
the lead single, 'Spine', earned them the coveted BBC Introducing NE's Track of the Week.
