Hi my name is <a href="spotify:artist:44MJuzEkpgVhybURhfFrYE" data-name="TWIGS WROTE THIS">TWIGS WROTE THIS</a> (or Ashley Oertel). I was born and raised in Palm Springs, California but I moved to Los Angeles to purse my career as a professional dancer. My music career didn’t begin until late October of 2020 where I started singing some of my poetry to beats I would find. I never considered myself a singer so I originally wanted friends to sing my songs for me. But with some practice and support from friends and family, I eventually recorded a song on my own. My first song was <a href="spotify:track:40tCkrcq31FRDvwWOWhqKC" data-name="You've Been Looking at Me">You've Been Looking at Me</a> and I haven’t stopped making music since. I do it for the love and passion I have for it and because if I enjoy listening, I would hope that there’s others out there that do too. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to hear my words.
