Eccentric and extravagant trio Twin Twin were left with the ignominy of being the first French Eurovision Song Contest entrant to finish last following their performance in the 2014 show. Formed in the eastern suburb of Paris, Montreuil, the group is made up of members Lorent Idir, François Djemel, and Patrick Biyik, who began fusing their electro pop sound together in 2009. Their high-energy music and flamboyant creativity alerted them to Warner Music in France, who released their debut album, Vive la Vie, in 2013. Following a year of touring, including festivals and shows across the world in the likes of Columbia, Canada, and Spain, they were chosen to represent their country in Copenhagen for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. They performed "Moustache," but were left in last place after picking up just two points. The song was subsequently released as a single, which went on to enter the Top 100 singles chart in the U.K., Sweden, Ireland, and Austria. ~ Scott Kerr, Rovi
