A versatile trio who played a wild mix of jazz, rock, funk, and punk where such unusual instruments as duck calls and slide whistles never really seemed out of place, Detroit's Twitch was formed in 1990 by guitarist and singer Rob Bullock, bassist, singer, and horn man Tim Taebel, and drummer and vocalist Scott Lemenski. The group released an album, At Last, in 2000 on Static Records. A farewell sampler of their recorded work, Long Ride on a Short Bus, appeared in 2002 from Static, after which the group called it quits. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
