Los Angeles- and Chicago-based <a href="spotify:artist:1WJytUBrTd89FDBBtLigZs" data-name="Two Fields Over">Two Fields Over</a> — lifelong friends Jared Matt Greenberg and Christopher Travis — offers up poignant indie music in folk and rock flavors on their debut LP, <a href="spotify:album:7tkoZ2iinx4hHcIQe6ML9h" data-name="Grains of Verse">Grains of Verse</a>. Multi-instrumentalist Greenberg is perhaps best known for his work in post-rock quintet <a href="spotify:artist:50cAzOpAwtIa0UcNMbjzUZ" data-name="Whale Fall">Whale Fall</a> and his solo project <a href="spotify:artist:26K2207e1llz3prOwI75I1" data-name="The Paper Sea">The Paper Sea</a>. A founding member of 1990s San Francisco shoegaze band The Rosemarys, he teamed with Charles Wyatt to form <a href="spotify:artist:4PGKb19D2epqSErkcsDxSN" data-name="Charles Atlas">Charles Atlas</a> in the early 2000s, and has performed and recorded with several other groups. Vocalist and musician Christopher Travis, a poet and literature professor, brings his versatile voice, evocative harmonies, and masterful lyrics to their uniquely resonant debut.
