Two Guys are two brothers who hail from Portland, OR. <a href="spotify:artist:5nluvUzMze2KRLjKvIqatk">Cameron Jones</a>, the younger, manages the guitar and vocal work, while Ryan Jones, the elder, takes control of the drums and other rhythmic duties. They started up Two Guys in Portland in early 2001 after a move from San Diego, where <a href="spotify:artist:5nluvUzMze2KRLjKvIqatk">Cameron Jones</a> had been busy with bass playing in <a href="spotify:artist:2yW7ALxCYqJMTBFLxGbs3g">Thingy</a> and drumming in <a href="spotify:artist:4ZWvN9FEfdTea1SEHjpTNi">Pinback</a>. Once the move to Portland was complete, the brothers started writing and practicing new songs. Absolutely Kosher Records had interest in the music and picked up Two Guys for the label.
