Up and coming artist TWONiTE is bursting onto the scene with a sound that is both edgy and catchy. With a style that flows from rhythmic to emotional, trap to sexy, he evokes a sound that taps into the vibes of Drake, Tory Lanez, The Weekend, ELHAE and the like.
Hailing from a family full of singers, it was inevitable that the singer, songwriter, and producer would immerse himself in music. But here’s the thing: He didn’t really care for music until he saw the character Powerline from Disney’s A Goofy Movie perform, voiced by Tevin Campbell. After realizing that singing was more than just something his parents and sisters loved, the New Jersey native found himself intrigued and began to research and study artists like Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Charlie Wilson, various Motown artists and more. Additionally, some of his musical inspirations are Musiq Soulchild, Lauryn Hill, The Fugees, Charlie Wilson, Tevin Cambell, Tank, and Keith Sweat. Once he found his own voice and sound, he began writing music and creating beats at the young age of 13 with the help of hand-me-down equipment like his Digital Reference microphone, Phantom-powered interface and M-Audio speakers.
Now, the singer spends most nights in his home studio doing what he loves: creating music that makes people feel waves of nostalgia with a modern day 90’s vibe.
