Le Twwen began recording at the beginning of the New Wave era, yet he was able to keep his sound alive while remaining commercially successful. He is known for his signature sound that is versatile, multilingual & engaging. Twwen! blends hip hop, makossa & Afro beats into a hard-to-classify but catchy mix.
Born Manyo Ojong in Yaoundé, Cameroon. By age 12, he was already producing his own music on a computer his mother gave him inspired by artists such as Wes & Petit Pays, as well as Kanye West, Nirvana, Pharrell Williams & Wiz Khalifa.
Le Twwen moved to Germany in his early 20’s where he attended University while maintaining very close ties to music.
Though he was attending University for his Master Degree, he released his first single T.G.I.F (Get Loose) in 2016 which became the Anthem for all student parties.
This was followed by others like "Hatin" & " Foreign Drip (Berlin)", through which his music gained a loyal international Fanbase - also commonly referred to as „The Tribe“.
In 2019 he founded Polytech Recordings 237 - the label and a year later, in April 2020 he released a 2-track Single titled "Unpredictable" featuring the genre-breaking record - "Music for Superheroes".
