Ty Wilson is an alt-country troubadour who seamlessly blends traditional and modern elements, with a soulful voice and an authentic storytelling style to create powerful and resonant music. The Peterborough, Ontario native’s (northeast of Toronto) self-coined “Red Dirt North” style mixes a fusion of modern country with southern rock flavor and is influenced by the likes of Chris Stapleton, Steve Earle and Eric Church.
Wilson was named a winner in both Nashville’s 2024 Unsigned Only competition (“The Last Sip”) and the Texas Country Music Association’s 2024 songwriting contest (“The Last Sip”), 2024 "Male Vocalist of the Year" in the Texas Sounds International CMA's, was a semi-finalist in the 2023 and 2024 International songwriting competition (“Another Day, Another Pour,” “The Last Sip”) and has had three #1 Canadian Indie Country Countdown singles, “The Last Sip” (2023) “Pair of Hearts” (2023) “Another Day, Another Pour” (2022).
