TY1 is recognized as the top DJ in the Italian Hip Hop scene. Since his debut in 1992, his innovative approach to dance and hip hop, particularly in scratch art, earned him recognition, including a win at the ITF in 1997. After many successful years as a DJ and producer, he released Hardship in 2016. He later collaborated with artists like Clementino, IZI, Smooties & Richie Loop, Marracash, Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, MHE, Capo Plaza, and Calcutta. In 2019, TY1 produced two tracks for Marracash’s new album "Persona": "QUELLI CHE NON PENSANO" (feat. Coez) and "NON SONO MARRA" (feat. Mahmood). In November 2019, TY1 released "C’est La Vie" feat. Capo Plaza and Dosseh, which was certified Gold. On January 2020, he dropped the single "Sciacalli" feat. Noyz Narcos and Speranza. His subsequent singles, "Aggio Perzo ‘o Suonno" feat. Coez and Neffa, and "Fantasmi" feat. Geolier and Marracash, both achieved Gold certification, paving the way for his latest album DJUNGLE (Thaurus/Believe), released on May, 2021. On December, 2022 TY1 released DJUNGLE UNCHAINED, an extended version of his previous album, which included seven new tracks and unreleased collaborations. In 2023, TY1 produced "The Major" on Noyz Narcos' album Virus. In January 2024, he released the remix of “15 Piani” by Sfera Ebbasta. In 2024, he produced the song “Sarago” feat. Guè for Red Bull 64 Bars & the track "Dimmi Tu" for the Deluxe Edition of Capo Plaza’s album Ferite.
