Tye Murphy

Tye Murphy is a recording artist based in the United States. His unique brand of Indie Pop delivers sounds that are both fresh and familiar. With some not so subtle nods to the 80s and clever hooks, Tye creates songs that connect on a deep level. His songs range from synth wave to acoustic numbers and in many cases amazing combinations of both. He has won praise from fans across the world and continues to compose and record. In 2020, Tye has released two singles. The first single, "Love is the Sharpest Knife" is a groovy edgy pop tune with a strong hook and great production. The team also created a video for this single which you can see on his YouTube page. The second single for 2020 is called "Your Shallow Sea." This song has been the catalyst for driving new fans to his music. It's a powerful anthemic song about love and jealousy. The video for "Your Shallow Sea" is very popular and features Tye and his band playing the song live with an esoteric storyline of love and loss mixed in.

In 2019, Tye released the full length album Answer in a Dream. The album contains several of his most popular songs including Pacing the Cage, Starting to Show and Never Wanted Anything More. The album was recorded over the last couple of years and even has one track mixed by renowned producer/engineer Robert Rebeck.

Tye is currently working on a new album and several singles for 2021!
