At the early age of 13....
Tye fell in love with the Hip-Hop culture of the 90's. His interest in the art of Dj'ing and digging for records led him to quickly discover hip hop was based around samples of all genres of music and this was to change his entire approach to his music production.
Raised on Boom-Bap, Jungle, Drum & Bass & Oz Hip Hop, Tye was an early adapter to the digital era of music and quickly became a big supporter of the local Perth Hip Hop scene. It wasn't until later in life that he began making his own beats and collaborating with Perth artists.
He has DJ'd for Bluntfield at venues such as Rosemount Hotel, Mojo's, Nannup Music Festival & Settlers Tavern whilst working quietly in the background to form Fresh Juice Collective with founding members Analog, Charlie-Moon Meader, Skyuka & Bluntfield.
