Tyga Bankz, born in North West but raised in Pretoria, South Africa, is a multifaceted artist — DJ, producer, and visionary behind the decks and the boards. His story began in Hip Hop, where his sharp ear and turntable skills earned him a place in the streets as a member of The Wrecking Crew and later Bubber Band Gang, a collective that carved its name into the underground movement. Tyga was also known as A-Reece’s tour DJ, bringing energy to stages across the country while sharpening his craft on and off the road.

Transitioning from Hip Hop to the world of Amapiano, Tyga Bankz didn’t just follow the wave, he became part of its future. His new production style blends soulful chords, clean drum work, and bold rhythms — a sound that reflects both his musical roots and forward-thinking edge.
