Tyler Bills is an independent artist based out of the Black Hills of South Dakota. Originally from Denver, CO in a family band with his dad and brother called Joe Fornothin. His musical career would take a turn when joining up with the Midwest rock band Judd Hoos. Over a decade of touring and multiple album releases Tyler’s big hearted charm and powerhouse vocals attracted audiences all over the country. Leading to an opportunity on the NBC show American Song Contest in 2021. Tyler toured across the Midwest opening for bands like The Wild Feathers, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mud, Billy Idol, Quiet Riot, 38 Special, and Third Eye Blind.

In late 2024 Tyler left the band Judd Hoos to pursue his solo career. He currently has his first self titled acoustic EP to be released July 4th, 2025.

Between playing acoustic gigs and songwriting, Tyler is busy with his funky blues rock project, The Denizens of the Deep. They released a LIVE album in June of 2025 with crowd favorites like “Sunday Munchies” and “Taos Balls.”

After having the busiest year of his career in 2025 Tyler is looking forward to what the future holds with original music and doing some Midwest tours of his own.
