Seattle native, Tyler Hamilton, knows exactly how he wants you to feel when you’re listening to his music; it’s the way he felt falling in love with rock ’n’ roll as a kid. introduced to Nirvana and Garth Brooks by his dad as a way to connect when they lived apart, Tyler absorbed the power of fervent music to convey emotion. he gravitated towards the styles of Roy Orbison, Chris Isaak, Bruce Springsteen, and Jeff Buckley. You can hear these influences in Tyler’s playing, peeking out in a swirl of soul, country, and good ol’ fashioned rock ’n’ roll, but Tyler will say he is driven simply because, “I haven’t found someone out there who is doing exactly what I want to do”.
For nearly two decades, Tyler has been immersed in teaching himself to build music equipment and write songs to capture the musical voice that not only speaks for him but compels listeners to remember, reflect, yearn, and lose themselves in a moment. His lyrics are straightforward and reflective, complemented by energetic and solidly powerful guitar.
