A producer and songwriter from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Tyler Johnson specializes in pop and country, having worked with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:1KCSPY1glIKqW2TotWuXOR">P!nk</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:06HL4z0CvFAxyc27GXpf02">Taylor Swift</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5nCi3BB41mBaMH9gfr6Su0">Fun.</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5YGY8feqx7naU7z4HrwZM6">Miley Cyrus</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5Pwc4xIPtQLFEnJriah9YJ">OneRepublic</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6eUKZXaKkcviH0Ku9w2n3V">Ed Sheeran</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0u2FHSq3ln94y5Q57xazwf">Keith Urban</a> before embarking on his own solo career. Johnson started songwriting in middle school, eventually studying music theory while also pursuing a prelaw degree in college. He put his law career on hold after graduation when a colleague encouraged him to focus on music. While working as a parking valet in Los Angeles, a chance meeting with producer <a href="spotify:artist:5phOCTS0ZqbZGVXdpG6rLu">Jeff Bhasker</a> would change his fate. With <a href="spotify:artist:5phOCTS0ZqbZGVXdpG6rLu">Bhasker</a> as a mentor, Johnson was introduced to pop heavyweights and found himself also working with country artists like <a href="spotify:artist:0u2FHSq3ln94y5Q57xazwf">Keith Urban</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5WRElKaZsn1tGnrgmJVAeO">Cam</a>, whose debut, Untamed, was Johnson's first major project. Work with <a href="spotify:artist:2wY79sveU1sp5g7SokKOiI">Sam Smith</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5y2Xq6xcjJb2jVM54GHK3t">John Legend</a> followed, and in 2017 Johnson produced and co-wrote <a href="spotify:artist:6KImCVD70vtIoJWnq6nGn3">Harry Styles</a>' self-titled debut.
