Typhus

Typhus started in Athens, Greece, back in 2019, although they existed as Nuclear Terror from 2009. Fast-paced menacing thrash essence meets sheer-force heavy/speed elements.

The release of the debut album, "Mass Produced Perfection" on 25th September 2020, marked the beginning of a new era for Typhus, where the band pushed the limits and formed its unique style. Storming drumming, high-pitched, relentless vocals, along with earth-shaking riffs were brought together, to create a solid debut for Typhus. The vision was brought in its entirety, with the creation of the album's artwork, by Par Olofsson (Exodus, Immortal, Unleashed, Revocation etc).

In order to promote "Mass Produced Perfection", Typhus shared the stage with various acts, such as Possessed, Warrell Dane, Flotsam & Jetsam etc. Additionally, the new Typhus era was marked with the participation in many European festivals, with most notable, Wacken Open Air 2022 and support act for Ghost, Candlemass in Athens Rotting Christ in Thessaloniki and King Diamond, Paradise Lost in Athens.

' Catacombs of Sancre Tor' and 'Only Ashes Remain' from their upcoming record were released in early 2025 ushering in a new era for the band with a step towards a more Classic Heavy Metal sound, further contributing to their unique style.
Their second album 'Fate Weaver' will be released on October 10th 2025 via Sleaszy Rider Records.
