Tytist

Tytist (age 23) is an emerging hip hop artist who is prolific in his craft. He has a strong skill set as a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and studio engineer.
From the age of 14, Tytist found his niche as the family’s studio engineer, pulling all night studio sessions for his father, XROSS, a Grammy nominated Christian Hip Hop pioneer, and his older brother, K-Jay.
As he got older, Tytist’s passion for music also grew. In 2018, he released his debut album, entitled, “I Am Liberty” with several songs and music videos. Pulling double duty in the classroom at Liberty University where he also played Division I basketball, Tytist then released his sophomore album “Paid It All.” He did this all while graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Finance in under three years! While attending college, Tytist partnered with the University to curate, produce, and perform live concerts for the student body.
While working on his 3rd solo release, Tytist is also learning piano and music production. As he is extremely creative and versatile in his music, Tytist has performed at US Bank Stadium and the Xcel Energy Center for a combined crowd of nearly 70,000 screaming fans. He's performed alongside artists such as Tip “T.I” Harris, Lecrae, and Maverick City Music! As a hip hop artist, Tytist's mission is to balance out the negative depictions in hip hop, and provide a positive and inspirational alternative.
