Tziu is the architect of a sound that sometimes shouldn’t work on paper, but feels effortless in the headphones. A Rio de Janeiro native and classically trained pianist, Tziu bridges the gap between the rigors of classical music and the pulse of Brazilian popular rhythms.

His productions are a lush collision of worlds: where the life of organic instruments (piano, guitar, bass, flute and sax) meets the textures of brazilian percussion and electronic beats. After a debut album that explored the depths of human isolation and resilience, Tziu is currently stepping into new grounds, bringing his own voice to the forefront alongside a collective of Rio’s most exciting collaborators, including Relva, Yanick Janotti, Renato de Paula, khaoscontrol and Bruno Simas.

This is modern Brazilian music: sophisticated, soulful, and deeply rhythmic.
