Tzvi

Tzvi is an up-and-coming New Jersey based singer and musician whose talent, earnest lyrics and rousing indie folk have captured fans. Passionate and introspective, Tzvi’s personality comes across in every song on his debut EP, Conclusions, released June 3rd. Tzvi recorded and produced the album himself in his home studio using just two microphones, yet this simple set-up belies songs with complex arrangements and
expansive sounds.

Musically inspired at a young age, Tzvi picked up his first guitar at nine years old and has been adding to his expanding musical repertoire ever since, learning new instruments and genre styles with ease. He plays all of the instruments on Conclusions himself, including guitar, piano, bass, drums, banjo and organ.

Some of the songs on the EP feature intricately layered harmonies, at times with up to twenty tracks of Tzvi singing. Conclusions is charged with emotional honesty and borne from his desire to make heartfelt music drawing from both his imagination and life experiences. Completing his clear vision for the album’s theme, Tzvi even designed the artwork himself. Alan Douches (Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds Five, Fleetwood Mac) mastered the album in upstate New York at West Westside Music.
