Hi, it's UAP! I grew up in the 1980s and inhaled the sound of the era, so it became my natural musical style.
I consider myself to be primarily influenced by Australian band ICEHOUSE, especially their early work, but in the 30+ years of my songwriting career I've established a sound of my own.
My songs have been reviewed around the world and have been featured on NDR public radio and SAT1 public TV in Germany.
You'll hear only few software instruments in my music. Instead, I'm drawing back to an arsenal of hardware synthesizers with a particular and long lasting love for ENSONIQ instruments of which I'm an avid collector.
Since 2023 I'm regularly collabing with Singer/Songwriter KATIE TICH. After collabs on more than 17 songs, we've decided to form our own musical project which is now called ROSEBUDTHORN.
2025 sees UAP diving into the sountrack genre with an upcoming 72 minute entirely new soundtrack to the classic motion picture "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari".
