Ucansuca is an experimental Sound Designer and Music Producer from Bogotá - Colombia.
His sound is based in the music experimentation, oscillating between analog and electronic instruments and genres. He experiments with objects and that let him the opportunity tu propose what he calls “Foley IDM”. Recording objects and mixing them with analog synths, his live act represents a huge story between his Colombian roots music, till the worldwide electronic and underground genres. At his age of 18’s, he started studying Sound Design for Film and video and because of that, his sounds suffered a cinematic complement, where the abstract and new exploration of textures, became some of his most nowadays characteristic identity.
Nowadays, he collaborates with different artists from different genres, such as Techno, Breakbeat, Hip Hop, Hyper Pop, Ambient and Colombian Folklore.
His intention is to always enjoy what those fusion experiments, provide to all the participants, and day by day, the chance to innovate different ways of music composition.
