After 12 years of non-stop work from 1996 to 2008 including demos, albums, gigs all over the country, besides shows in Argentina and Uruguay, the band split-up.
Seven years went by, when Alejandro and Rodrigo (Both guitarists and original members), decided to give a new try to the project, re-joining in a rehearsal room to dust-off the songs included in UDK´s two previous albums: “Hand that feeds”(2004) and “From sacred to profane”(2008).
Chemistry was intact, and it seemed that the last rehearsal wouldn’t have been years ago, but the day before.
The writing process did not took much time, so quickly many riffs surfaced to their hands, shaping 10 new songs that led the band into the studio.
Between April and July of 2018, UDK finally recorded "Burnt cradles", their third and new album released the 28th October of that year.
A video for the song “Like rats” as the first single was released, and the band plays several shows, which are shared with bands like Criminal, Nuclear, Lefutray, and many other blasting Chilean acts!
