Uğur Özcan

In 2003, he met with Istanbul Kemence. He took lessons on Istanbul Kemence and Turkish Music from artists such as Cengiz Onural, Derya Türkan and Erkan Oğur.

In 2017, he founded Studio Trio and in 2021 he founded Trio Production Company. In this music studio, he recorded and released dozens of albums, singles, theatre, commercials and series music.

He performed as a soloist for the first time in the music group ‘Hayal Bandosu’ between 2009-2015. In 2021, he released singles such as Hayal, Sabah in 2022 and Geçti Zaman in 2023.

He is the founder of the music group Kök Trio, which was established in 2022 and has released 6 albums so far, with Deniz Arslan and Caner Özkan, and also performs Istanbul Kemençe in this group.

He accompanies various music groups and well-known vocal artists with Istanbul kemençe in domestic and international concerts and continues to work as a lecturer at Kocaeli University State Conservatory.
