Formed in early 2015, Úlfúð is an Extreme Metal band based in Reykjavík, Iceland. Seeking to craft it's own sound, the band melds the different influences of it's members together with it's unique surroundings. The result is an amalgamation of grim death, pitch black grooves and haunting melodies. Úlfúð aspires to bring these qualities to life on stage as well as recordings, with a focus on unified presence and crushing force.
Recorded in the summer of 2020, "Of Existential Distortion" - out the 17th of March via Dark Descent Records, is Úlfúð's first full length album. The follow up and evolutionary next step to 2018's "First Sermon" EP, it is a more refined, focused work, showcasing the band's growth as songwriters and as an entity.
