Umbrella No.9

Umbrella No.9 is a group of musicians from the UK. From early on they drew on a wide range of musical tastes which emerged from their love of the Indie bands of the late 90's and early 2000's along with soul and funk.

In the intervening years Adam and Will, spent some time living in Manchester developing 'Naughty Corner', a funk/rock/reggae project which saw them play gigs up and down the city in venues such as The Deaf Institute, the 02 Academy and many more of Manchester's great and sometimes not so great music spots.

The three founding members of Umbrella No.9, Adam Bowser, Will Ryan and Martin Ryan are now focused on 'building’ songs with the studio as the main tool for developing their sound. They take their inspiration from the soul and funk of their Manchester years and meld it with pop, rock and jazz of the ages to create their personal sound.
