UMÉ

UMÉ is a Nigerian artist, songwriter, and creative from New Jersey. He makes “empathetic mood music” containing unique themes that are both versatile and relatable. Through his projects like Sonic Therapy, he wants to empower those who feel powerless and encourage others to tap into their real emotions or heal through music with authenticity. UMÉ is very hands-on when it comes to the process of worldbuilding as he plans, directs, and edits a majority of the visual elements, including cover art, teasers/trailers, and videos to illustrate the deeper meaning. While his artistry leans more towards alternative Hip-Hop, he plans to expand with more melodic and experimental sounds for 2025 that will bend different genres.

On the songwriting side, he has releases with artists like Limi, Serene, Kel Adore, and Krissy while also pitching sync work to different companies. He’s been working on placement opportunities with Billboard-charting and award-winning writers/producers within his circle and plans to grow on multiple sides of the industry moving forward.
