Fresh new artist UNA is quite a paradox. Her life before UNATC I.L. Caragiale, where she studied Acting , had nothing to do with art. She studied Accountancy&Informatics but droped the University after one year because she felt she didn’t belong to that world of numbers. ‘I went to UNATC for music. I know it sounds strange.’
She started performing on various theatres before she even finished the first three years of university. This whole time she selfeducated the singer who now is called UNA. She knew theatre is not enough so she skipped the Master Degree final examn to go to USA. That experience changed her perception about many things so she came back after 4 months and decided that it’s time to take her life as an artist to the next level. She started a label called ‘Zero Entertainment’ with her friends Ianushh, Banny and Zory. Even though everybody said it was a suicidal move for her as an actress, she felt that it was finally the right time for music. ‘They all gave me zero chances but millions are made of zeros, right?’
It is hard to put her into a genre because she feels inspired by so many different artists, so many different styles and moods. ‘R&B is my love, but I like mixing crazy stuff between them and see what happens, so…I think the day I’ll die I’ll be like ‘I still have some ideas left.’
