Unarmed For Victory

Hailing from sunny Miami, Florida, UNARMED FOR VICTORY, is a spirited five-piece unit that maintains to stay grounded and light-hearted. The band aliased by their fans as both “Unarmed" and "UFV" ushers a sundry sound to listeners of the Post-Hardcore and Metalcore genres. Their debut EP ‘And If You Don’t Wake Up’ was recorded at Mockingbird Studios with producer Brooks Paschal (Surprises, Sullivan) and was self-released in November 2011. They followed up the effort with their second installment ‘The Great Collapse,’ an EP that propelled the band onto longer roads and into larger venues. The EP caught the attention of then Illinois-based label Red Cord Records. This would lead the act to develop and eventually release their first full-length album ‘Viceversa’.

The group – made of Jake Dalton, Jose Manuel Castaneda, Eric Green, Gabriel Monjaras, and Jean-Philippe Roche – are influenced by different styles of music, which contributes to their unique style of music. They are loud, full of energy and they put on a killer show – as that’s what their fans expect.
