Before Jimmy Buffet sang about eating a cheeseburger in paradise, or Kenny Chesney sang about having no shoes, no shirt, no problem - there was the original beach cowboy. A leisurely Florida-based country singer named Uncle Drank.

Uncle Drank had a multitude of hits throughout the 1970’s and 80’s before mysteriously disappearing in 1992. He wrote songs about the Eight B’s: Bars, boats, beers, beaches, babes, blenders, birds and of course, bananas. He singlehandedly pioneered the “Gulf and Western” sound and is said to have brought to life the styles of “trop rock,” “lifestyle country” and any other genre of music that Jimmy Buffet usually gets credit for.
After it was discovered that Uncle Drank had faked his own death to avoid his lawsuits, five ex-wives and shady record labels, he was found strumming a guitar and pounding clams on a beach by Brian Kelley, one of the most popular country singers in the world.

Uncle Drank reemerged in August of 2022 and brought back his catalogue, alongside brand new songs, giving his fans reasons to reach for their blenders once again. Now let’s get totally hammered!
