Zurich based hip hop/electronic instrumentalist Unda De Sango is one of the most promising prospects of upcoming beatmakers from Switzerland. Growing up in the city of Sankt Gallen (therefore the appendix „de Sango“), he started with DJing and producing in his late teens and managed to find his own signature style over the course of time, combining classic beatmaking with a futuristic touch.
After his move to Zurich, his production quickly caught the attention of the well-known label Boyoom Connective, founded by Melodiesinfonie & Maloon TheBoom, where he released his first EP “Off the Cuff” in 2013 and "Fi-Filé" EP in 2017 which plays with several samples and shows the colourful and captivating soundscapes of the creole culture in the French West Indies. Besides sitting in his tiny studio working on his next projects, he’s also made a name of himself as a DJ and live-beats performer, playing numerous shows in Switzerland, France and Germany.
