At the summer of 2018, two classmates form UST, Migui Pancho and Jethro Español formed a new band as their old band dissolved. Migui taking up vocal and rhythm guitar duties, while Jethro took on the lead guitar. They started jamming at a nearby studio in UST. As they were looking for a drummer, Migui sought help to a UST friend. His friend recommended Mel Tomayao III to Migui to play drums. Migui then invited Mel to jam with him and Jethro, taking up drums. Struggling to find a bassist, Migui contacted old friend Manny Atoy Jr. The two met back in 2015 through the musical organization in UST: "Musikat". He invited the two to jam, and then Undercovers was born.
Jamming and recording some demos, came in a shock when Jethro expressed his desire to leave the band in mid May of 2018. Wanting to continue the band, Migui encouraged Manny and Mel to continue the band as trio. The trio finally played their first gig on June at 8065 Bagnet in Manila.
On mid August of 2018, Raphael Villa, childhood friend of Migui, invited him to jam with his friend, Enzo Advincula. The two kids wanted to start a band, but they don't know how, so they invited Migui to play drums on their jam. Wanting to help, Migui invited the two to join the band. Enzo taking up lead guitar, and Raphael taking up guitar and keyboard duties.
Undercovers released their first single "You're All I See" on July of 2019, and been playing shows and gigs all around Metro Manila ever since.
