Underhill is a solo project from singer-songwriter Nick Oberholtzer. He is releasing his first official singles: Older Now and Changes.

Older Now is a heartfelt folk song written about becoming an adult and remembering your childhood. Taking inspiration and imagery from memories of growing up in the Shenandoah Valley, Underhill crafts sounds and phrases that carry the same fond but uneasy feelings of nostalgia that often come with remembering simpler times. Now they all feel so far away.

On the other hand, Changes is an explosive alt-rock song written during a time of transition and questioning; battling with the struggles of his ever changing world. There’s regret and angst vibrating through the waves of distortion.

The recording process of these tracks reflects the lyrical themes of change and uncertainty with the direction of the tracks often switching back and forth between different ideas; never really feeling tied down to one particular vision. After a year of anxiety and moving from place to place, Underhill is getting used to the changes and is ready to show the world the results.
