Percy Picklesworth, better known as ‘Unknown P’ is the UK’s first posh drill rapper.
Raised on the gang-ridden streets of Surrey, Percy first gained an interest in drill when his clarinet tutor accidentally sent him the sheet music for 'Skengs in the Shire' by a local artist named Sir Kweff-A-Lot. From there, he was instantly hooked and took to the genre like a politician to an off-shore bank account.
Since then, he has collabed with the likes of Lady Leshurr, Big Zuu, Capo Lee and Manga St Hilare, broke records with his viral Fire in the Booth and replied to Chip 70 years before Stormzy did.
Now in 2020, Unknown P is sending shockwaves into the scene, with a selection of bangers even Beethoven would ‘buss down’ to. Gentrification has never sounded so delightful – the new single Piers Morgan is out now.
