UNXL (Unofficial) is a producer duo and minimal band consisting of 'INTEC' on vocals and bass, and 'JESE' on guitar and synths. As producers, they carry the legacy of the vibrant digital sounds of the 1980s, while as performers, they combine this with the warm, analog tones of a band sound.
In 2018, the two individuals, who were seniors and juniors at Howon University, formed the unofficial team ‘UNXL’ to express their true selves and inspirations, apart from their individual music activities.
In 2022, after working together consistently, they announced the beginning of their official activities with the release of their EP album ‘LOST,’ featuring sound advice from ‘Nell’s’ ‘Kim Jong-wan.’
In 2023, they joined the label ‘papermode,’ which is centered around producer ‘Yoon Sang’ and focuses on bringing in sincere young artists who are capable of producing and deeply considering sound, with the aim of presenting new possibilities in K-pop.
