Upon Your Dead Body began as a solo project by frontman Efrain Benavides, born from his bedroom and nurtured in the local venues of South Texas. What started as a personal love letter to the regional emo scene has grown into a powerful force driven by heartfelt lyricism and a passion for theatrical storytelling.
With the addition of Robert De La Rosa on drums and Jesus Trevino on bass, the band’s sound has evolved into a compelling fusion of spoken word, melodic intensity, midwest emo, and math rock. Together, they deliver raw emotion and a captivating edge that has been making waves across Texas.
