Subterranean beats from the oceanic floor. LA based beat producer URCHN makes music for listeners to reach a state of alignment and flow. The sound serves as a funneled lens/vision grabbing influence from collaboration, sampling, and genre bending to make one unified sound.
It's about finding peace in the chaos, purpose in the meaningless, energy in the mundane, and calm in the storm. It’s about leaving your hometown to travel the world, looking at the bigger picture, and being true to yourself. Starting in the DIY live world, URCHN started his career in San Diego playing out in Indie, Punk, and Pop touring bands. URCHN began in 2019 as a side project making an electric start in the LoFi Beats scene. The project has since moved into the world of chill dance music with an exciting release calendar for 2025.
Over the last few years the project has garnered 50million streams across streaming platforms, been featured on countless editorials, as well as live sets DJing in Mexico City, SXSW, The Fonda Theater, and the LA club scene.
URCHN's latest single 'Don't Cry For Love' with casey plays the keyboard is out now on Friends Of Friends Music with an EP entitled 'Sinkers' to follow on June 20th.
