Dividing her time between India and the U.K, Urvi believes that music has always been her one faithful constant amidst the volatile nature of her life. She holds a diploma in vocal performance and is now studying music and philosophy. Music and the arts have always been of great importance in her family.
Urvi is inspired by genres spanning from soul and jazz to progressive rock and heavy metal. Some of her main musical influences are Haken, Jinjer, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God and Amy Lee. With her unconventional style of music, Urvi isn’t afraid to experiment with musical elements and intuitions. Her upcoming single Pantomime showcases just this as she pushes her stylistic boundaries and plays with the concept of musical story telling.
