Born in 1997 June 27th and raised amidst the energy of Hill City Capital of the country, Uvindu found solace and inspiration for music through his family, in younger days exploring his mother’s music collection he discovered artists such as, Michael Bolton, Rob Stewarts, The Eagles, The Beatles, Guns n
Roses, Metallica, Bon Jovi which made him explore more and more about diverse genres of music. Later in his college days he formed many bands trying to create original music. In this era of his life he was introduced to the “Mercurial Studio” which was a major turning point and made a huge impact in his music life. Through the period of time he spent in Mercurial Studios, he met some of the pioneers in the
Heavy Metal and Underground Music Scene in Sri Lanka. Through the time he spent with these personalities he gained more and more exposure and experiences towards his solo music career. Uvindu immersed themselves in a diverse range of sounds, from Grunge, Alternative rock, Heavy metal
to Black Metal, Death Metal and many extreme genres.
