Vadim Mayer, a Montreux native, grew up surrounded by music, beginning his journey at the conservatory before turning to turntables and discovering the joy of electronic sound. From early on, he was driven by the power of rhythm to move people and create shared moments on the dancefloor. His sound is defined by deep, impactful house that seamlessly bridges genres, eras, and influences — blending house, disco, and unexpected elements into eclectic and memorable sets.
Today, Vadim is a rising figure on the Swiss music scene. He holds a residency at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival, where he also curates as Artistic Director and booker for the Li Lo stage. He has shared lineups with artists such as Traumer, Alci, Afriqua, Luca Saporito (Audiofly), and more, and has played at Afterseason Festival, Folklor, ABC (D! Club), Cat Club Courchevel, Indie Beach, and Pablo St-Tropez.
Expanding into production, Vadim debuted on Indie House Records with “Break the Wall.” He also premiered a live show with instrumentalists at Montreux Jazz, introducing a bold project that blends electronic music with live vocals and instrumentation. Now finalizing this album, he continues to push his artistic vision forward. Supported by Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, and Richie Hawtin, Vadim Mayer is emerging as a versatile and forward-thinking artist with much more to come.
