VÆS is a Malmö-based soul, pop, and R&B band blending jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary R&B into a confident, groove-driven sound. A band that effortlessly blurs the boundaries between genres with undeniable attitude.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Robert Glasper, Yebba, D'Angelo and SAULT, VÆS delivers an uncompromising sound that feels authentic, intimate, raw, and impossible not to move to.
Their Swedish lyrics bring a sense of closeness and vulnerability to an otherwise internationally inspired sound, giving their music a distinctive identity that stands out on the Swedish music scene.
Born from a shared love of these genres and a desire to create something uniquely their own, VÆS is ready to make its mark. With their debut EP on the way, VÆS isn't just a band to discover — it's a band you won't want to miss.
