Backed by the likes of Red Bull, Ministry of Sound, DJ Mag, i-D Magazine and the BBC, Vagrant Real Estate combines hard hitting drums and programming with his ear for melody and soul to put his spin on a range of styles, from classic Boom Bap to UK Drill.
Vagrant has self released multiple albums including the collaborative project The Iceberg Theory with London rapper Clbrks, for which the full vinyl run sold out pre-release. VRE has also produced for a range of artists including Grime pioneer Wiley, Westside Gunn affiliate Hus KingPin, ex-Rocafella US signed artists S.A.S., and Manga Saint Hilare, as well as rising Scottish stars Bemz, Ransom Fa and McRoy. He is also a co-founder of the acclaimed alternative UK Rap group It'sLeftfield, alongside frequent collaborators including namesbliss, SAMSON and DeeRiginal.
His work has racked up millions of streams across all platforms and been played by the likes of BBC Radio 1, 6 and 1Xtra, and has garnered accolades such as a Best Hip Hop nomination at the 2025 Scottish Alternative Music Awards, a placement on BBC Radio Scotland’s Top 25 Artists To Watch, and a Track of The Week award on BBC Scotland Introducing.
