My name is Valentine Uzoma Ezeribe.
My stage name “ Valee” was a university friend’s short way of saying Valentine, she said it so much and so consistently that I started to like it , and now I’m Valee YVE, pronounced just the way it’s written, I was born in a riverine city in the southern parts of Nigeria called port harcourt where I lived for most of my childhood, discovered my love for music from classroom freestyle and decided that I wanted to do music. My parents are civil servants that really wanted school for me so I couldn’t really make music untill I left home for the university , which I also left in my sophomore year. I’m a singer , songwriter and performer right now but I plan to be a lot more in my quest to find true self expression. I hope my art bring solace and succor to the hearts that find it.
