Producer, co-creator of the From disco to disko label and the Ballà Boum festival, if Valerj had chosen to buy a guitar at the age of fifteen, the story would certainly have been different.

But at the dawn of the 2000s, as club culture flooded Europe's biggest cities, turntables became a dream, even for a kid from Corsica.
To use these turntables, you need records. When he can't find them at the only record shop in his hometown of Bastia, he orders them (or steals them in dubious mp3 versions) from the web.

It was precisely this tool, the Internet, that shook up his certainties at the dawn of his twenties. Myspace, Reason, the Fluokids... the Mediterranean was disappearing, the legendary Calvi on the rocks festival was exploding, and nothing would ever be the same again.

He scoured these island festivals, not only as a partygoer but also as an artist. As the years went by, his cross-disciplinary tastes became more pronounced.
In 2017, the monthly From disco to disko evenings were born, culminating in the creation of an eponymous label in early 2019.

In the space of just three ep's, Valerj's productions have already toured the world, appearing in sets by major players on the dark disco / indie dance scene such as Jennifer Cardini, Curses or Perel. Always eager to collaborate and exchange, since 2022 he has also crossed paths with renowned artists such as Damon Jee, Roe Deers, Amarcord and Joe Lewandowski for remixes.
