My name is Valgerður (Vala) and I am a musician in Akranes, Iceland. I’ve been working as a singer/sonwriter, music teacher and choir director for over 20 years. I’ve worked with a lot of great bands and musicians through the years and have got a few exciting music projects going on. I write my own music, arrange for different instruments and voices. Along side that I play icelandic Folk music and favourtie cover songs.
